Another disadvantage of VoIp is to think that not every State, or even country may have access to it. Although VoIp can also be done straight through a dial-up connection, it reduces the stability of the connection. If one were to think a free overseas call, then the recipient must have a computer or at least a broadband connection. Otherwise, there would be fees complex for carrier connection.
In the event of an emergency, dialing 911 is the first thing to do. Although a mandate was passed for providers to allow urgency numbers to join together straight through VoIp, not all States may have this feature.
The disadvantages of VoIp may be two or more things depending on accessibility and portability, and sometimes some numbers cannot be dialed without having to pay first. Even with these flaws intact, VoIp have made calling a bit more versatile and cheaper, hopefully would evolve into a proper of communication in the years to come.
